When you send messages to EQL Apparel's Facebook Pages, your conversations and profile information (such as your name and profile picture) may be processed by our AI-powered customer service system. This helps our sales agents provide you with faster and more helpful responses.

What We Process: Your messages, conversation history, Facebook profile information (name, profile picture), and message timestamps.

How We Use It: To generate response suggestions for our sales agents, improve customer service quality, and maintain conversation history for better support.

Your Privacy: All data is sanitized for personally identifiable information (PII) before being sent to AI services. Your data is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy, Meta's data policies, and applicable privacy laws.

Internal Use Only

Customer data is only accessible to authorized EQL Apparel sales agents and administrators who need access to provide customer service.

Third-Party Services

  • Meta/Facebook: We receive data through official Meta APIs and comply with their data policies
  • OpenAI: Conversation context may be sent to OpenAI for AI response generation. All data is sanitized for PII before being sent to OpenAI. Data is retained by OpenAI for 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes only and is never used for training OpenAI models. See OpenAI's data retention policy for the Responses API.
  • Hosting Providers: Data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Render, Vercel)

Data Deletion

When customers remove our app from their Facebook account, we automatically delete all associated data within 30 days. Users can also request data deletion at any time by visiting our Data Deletion Request page.
